To make a reservation please contact us using the details fron the link below. Please note there is normally a minimum group size of four required for our walks to go ahead. Please let us know of any dietary requirements at the time of booking, also if you require any clothing or equipment hire. We will also do our best to pick you up at a specific point within reason, from our normal route.

Terms and Conditions


Health

Anyone suffering from any relevant medical conditions, illnesses or disabilities must let it be known at the time of booking, or at anytime thereafter. Individuals must have a reasonable level of fitness to complete the walk, participants should be aware of this, having prepared and conditioned themselves accordingly prior to their walk.

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel, you must notify us as soon as possible. Any deposits paid will not be refunded. If we cancel or make a major alteration, we will inform you promptly. We will offer you an alternative trip, or a full refund of any monies paid. If the minimum number is not achieved, we reserve the right to cancel the trip, any deposits paid will be refunded.

Insurance

Ptarmigan Treks, or any linked charitable organisation, will not be held responsible for any accident, injury, loss, damage, death or expenses etc. We strongly recommend that participants take out their own insurance to cover them for the duration of the trip, in respect of above.

Safety

Due to the nature of outdoor activities all participants should accept a certain element of risk. Our guides will do everything in their power to minimise the risks, where possible. In the interests of safety, participants must agree to abide by any decision made by the guides. Due to adverse weather conditions, we reserve the right to cancel or change any route for safety reasons.
