Participants arriving at Glasgow International Airport taking part on The Ben Nevis Challenge will be collected from outside the main terminal building at the coach parking area - this can be found by turning right when you exit the main terminal building and walking approx 200m - the pick up will be around 3.30pm on the Friday afternoon of your event. The pick up will be either by Ptarmigan Treks minibus (which is clearly marked) or by coach displaying your charities logos on the front and rear windows. If you decide to take transport into Glasgow city centre, if say your flight is early, please notify Ptarmigan Treks at least the day before your arrival, your pick up will then be from outside Glasgow Central train station as described below.

Participants arriving at Glasgow Central train station, must be outside the station on Gordon Street for no later than 2.45pm, this street is located on the main entrance. The minibus or coach will leave at 3.00pm prompt. The coach will display the charity logos on the front and rear windows for you to identify it easily or you may be collected by the Ptarmigan Treks minibus, which too will be clearly marked.

For individuals taking part in The West Highland Way event you may either be arriving into Glasgow airport or Glasgow Central train station, from these locations public transport is plentiful and you should not encounter any problems getting to Milngavie. From Glasgow airport your journey by taxi will take approx 25mins, and from Glasgow Central station approx 15mins by taxi. Participants are reminded to be outside Milngavie train station for 09.30am on the Sunday morning of your event.

Participants taking part in The Great Glen Way will be collected at either Glasgow Central train station or Glasgow airport on the Saturday morning of your event, if at Glasgow Central station your pick up will be at 8.00am on Gordon Street which is directly outside the main station. The pickup from Glasgow airport will be at approx 8.15am outside the main terminal building at the coach parking area - this can be found by turning right when you exit the main terminal building and walking approx 200m. At both these locations you will be met by the Ptarmigan Treks minibus which is clearly identifiable.

Anyone taking part in The Ben Nevis Challenge who may be making their own way there, are advised to arrive no later than 8.45am on the Saturday morning of their chosen event. The start point is situated within Glen Nevis approx 2miles from the centre of Fort William, at the Glen Nevis visitor centre, this is clearly signposted and has ample parking facilities as well as public toilets.
